The InnoTrans is the leading international trade fair for traffic technology. Every two years, the industry gathers in Berlin to discuss the latest developments. Again, PFLITSCH will be exhibiting from 18.-21. September 2018. Four days in which mobility is brought into the focus and customers get more information about our fire protection cable glands.

What is this fair exactly about?

It is about railway technology and infrastructure as well as public transport in a wider sense. Some special topics are specifically referred to, including the topics interior of trains and tunnelling.

Why is railway technology considered to be a "challenge"?

When it comes to the transport of people, high requirements in terms of fire protection must be met. In the case of a fire, it must be ensured that the train remains operational for a certain time and an evacuation of the passengers is possible. An additional spread of the fire must be avoided. Accordingly, materials must be installed that do not promote fires in addition. In addition to the topic of fire protection, mechanical stresses caused by vibrations and other impacts like dust, harsh weather conditions and changes to the temperature challenge all components used. PFLITSCH offers a variety of solutions to meet these requirements. To illustrate our broad product portfolio, we have developed of something special: with a look into the windows of a stylized train on our stand, you can get an overview of where to find cable glands from PFLITSCH in a train.
